We are looking for a customer-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative II to join our Accounting Call Center. This position is considered non-exempt, full-time with benefits.

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for communicating with customers in order to collect payment on outstanding accounts. Basic functions include data entry, reports generation, contacting customers, writing correspondences, researching account balances and maintaining accurate records. The position will require frequent communication with the Customer Service department and customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Receives and processes customer payments to include the charging of electronic funds and posting of payment journals
  • Securely manages sensitive financial information
  • Reviews aging reports on a daily basis and contacts account holders to request payment on delinquent balances
  • Records payment promises and schedules appropriate follow up if necessary
  • Processes order hold queues on an hourly basis and negotiates past due account balances
  • Prepares recommendations for altering credit limits and terms based on customer payment history
  • Creates reports on customer accounts as needed
  • Handles customer complaints in accordance to department procedures
  • Maintains detailed records of customer interactions
  • Organizes and manages respective customer account files
  • Responds to customer inquiries and requests in accordance to department standards
  • Builds functional relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers
  • Must be able to fulfill all the duties and responsibilities of an Accounts Receivable Representative I
  • Other duties as required
Job Specifications & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ years experience in Accounting or Customer Service
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Strong data entry and 10-key touch
  • Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Axapta/Dynamics preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to handle customer complaints with tact and diplomacy
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
  • Occasionally, be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent head and neck rotation
  • Frequent handling, grasping, writing and fine hand manipulation as needed for daily tasks at a standard computer workstation
  • Ability to constantly use a computer keyboard/mouse/monitor to enter data (repetitively)

The Inside Account Manager drives sales growth among new and current accounts by providing exceptional customer service and account maintenance; explaining the Company’s products, services, and overall benefits; and 'root-causing' and addressing customer-related issues; The Account Manager’s primary goal is to increase sales, customer loyalty and retention.

This position requires prior experience in making outgoing telephone calls to maintain and grow business.

Responsibilities
  • Initiates frequent or periodic calls and emails to primarily existing accounts to establish rapport, maintain and solidify relationships, handle customer-related issues and questions, and grow the business
  • Calls and emails up-and-coming accounts who are on the verge of becoming a Platinum Account or have just become Platinum, identifies decision makers, builds and fosters relationships, and drives sales
  • Creates and analyzes reports on assigned accounts, and makes recommendations to increase sales and grow the account based on the analysis and findings
  • Emphasizes service, product features and benefits, discuss credit terms, quote pricing and promotions; and prepare sales order reports for the customer
  • Ensures the “voice of the customer” is heard and that relevant/important information captured/shared by customers is distributed to appropriate parties for evaluation
  • Researches and gains valuable insight into key dealer and distributor buying behaviors; makes decisions based on the findings and analysis
  • Researches/prospects new business opportunities utilizing existing (or new) web technologies
  • Tracks department metrics by documenting and maintaining all customer contact information and communications via CRM
  • Attending trade shows & buying group shows and promoting the Company’s products and services 20% Travel: tradeshows, customer visits, conferences, etc.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing/sales or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 2+ years’ experience with relationship building (not transactional selling) and business development
  • 2+ years’ experience of proven successful track record in inside Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software helpful (Salesforce preferred)
  • Knowledge of team sports apparel and accessories highly preferred; passion for team sports and/or sports fashion or goods is a plus
  • Proven successful track record in inside sales required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, and fluid entrepreneurial environment
  • Competitive personality with proven "closer" skills
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
  • Excellent time management and strong follow-through skills; team player
  • Employee must possess a valid driver’s license issued by California Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record
  • Interest in sports is highly desirable

Teamwork Athletic Apparel is a local, leading manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor of team sports uniforms. We are looking for temporary employees to assist our Marketing Department perform market research, product validation, use social media, media outreach and asset creation for current and prospective product lines. In addition, we are looking for assistance with multiple marketing campaign projects to include design. An appreciation for Fashion/Apparel and/or Sports is desired.

Must be able to commit 20-40 hours per week for approximately 14 weeks from Monday through Friday, anytime between 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications below:
  • Excellent oral/written communications skills in English
  • Intermediate computers skills, preferably on a Windows-based operating system
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) skills
  • Experience with Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) preferred
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing/Graphic Communications/Multimedia Design/Public Relations preferred
